Fitzroy Sewalong Preview
Who’s ready to sew a blouse?
This lovely blouse has a button front, two sleeve options, and we love it. Designer Liesl ranks this pattern 2/4 scissors of difficulty. The sewalong assumes that you know how to operate your sewing machine and follow a sewing pattern.
You’ll need a sewing machine in good working order, cutting and marking tools. the ability to make buttonholes, some time, and the materials.
At Make It Sew, we have lots of suitable fabrics, including the types that we’re using in our samples: flannel, lightweight cotton (lawn, voile, batiste) chambray (cotton, linen, hemp)—you could use something crisp or flowy.
We encourage you to read through the pattern before you get started.
There’s no cost. You can simply follow along here on the blog, but we’re also holding a couple of Zoom meetings where you can learn more and ask questions.
